Imagine how you would feel losing a family member just two weeks before Christmas. For the Grady family, that pain is all too real.

Last December, Janet Grady was driving home when suddenly a drunk driver veered across the center line and slammed head-on into her car. The accident was devastating and by the time first responders arrived on the scene, it was sadly too late. Janet had passed away.

It was a crushing loss not only for Janet’s husband and their two children but for the countless number of families whose lives she touched as a daycare teacher for over 32 years. “She was a kind, nurturing, loving soul,” Megan said while describing her mother, “she was the glue that held the family together.”

Unfortunately, Janet’s passing has also put a significant financial strain on the Grady family. Megan is struggling to help her father keep the family afloat and her brother Alex doesn't think he can afford to go to college.
