Drive Clear and the Madison/Dane County Tavern League are proud to announce a new partnership in the fight against drunk driving. Along with a $1000 donation, the Madison/Dane County Tavern League and its members will be joining Drive Clear’s drunk driving prevention initiative.
Jimmy Anderson, the founder and president of Drive Clear, is excited about working with the Madison/Dane County Tavern League. “Unlike other organizations, we believe in working with our local businesses. The people who own bars, restaurants, and breweries care about the safety of their customers and communities, and by working together, we can reach those who are most at risk of driving drunk.”
Drive Clear’s drunk driving prevention initiative, through its partnership with BACtrack, focuses on getting personal breathalyzers into the hands of as many people as possible. “You can’t just ask people to drink responsibly; you have to give them the tools to take responsibility,” argued Jimmy. “By using a breathalyzer, people can ensure that they are safe and legal to drive home no matter what the circumstances.”
To aid Drive Clear’s prevention initiative, the members of the Madison/Dane County Tavern League will carry breathalyzer mouthpieces so that people can easily share their devices. “We are so thankful for their support,” Jimmy said. “By combining our prevention initiative with the Tavern League’s existing Saferide program, we can help keep our roads safe and ultimately save lives.”
